Work forms an important part of our lives, not only financially but also for our self-esteem, sense of purpose, achievement, status and socially. Losing our jobs can have a significant and detrimental impact on each of these areas.

We may feel lost, without purpose or that we are on ‘the scrap heap’, our confidence levels may be knocked when looking for new work or we may simply be at a loss for how to fill our time.
