Redundancy Counselling

Counselling and Therapy for Redundancy

Work forms an important part of our lives, not only financially but also for our self-esteem, sense of purpose, achievement, status and socially. Losing our jobs can have a significant and detrimental impact on each of these areas.

How therapy can help

We may feel lost, without purpose or that we are on ‘the scrap heap’, our confidence levels may be knocked when looking for new work or we may simply be at a loss for how to fill our time. However redundancy has affected you, therapy can provide the space to talk through what has happened and how to move on to the next stage of your life.

If you feel it would be helpful to speak with a therapist, please contact me

Testimonials

"When I was made redundant unexpectedly I felt as though I had been put on the shelf and no-one would want me. I became depressed and gave up trying. Wendy helped me work through these feelings and gradually re-build my confidence. After a recent successful interview I now have a job again and feel much better. Thank you"

"Counselling helped me a particularly low point in my life, I had worked for the same company for 36 years and did not know what to do next. Through talking through options in a supportive and non-judgemental environment I was able to see a future again".
